In the third quarter of 2024, the top air travel apps in the United Arab Emirates showed varied performance in terms of downloads and active users. According to Sensor Tower data, these apps have demonstrated notable trends worth examining.

Emirates maintained a relatively consistent download rate throughout the quarter, starting at around 6.7K downloads in early July and ending with approximately 5.1K by late September. A slight decline in weekly active users was observed, dropping from about 14.4K to 12.5K over the same period.

Air Arabia experienced fluctuations in downloads, with a notable peak in the last week of September, reaching 11.4K downloads. Active users also saw a significant increase towards the end of the quarter, rising from 15.6K in early July to 22.6K by the end of September.

For Wizz Air - Book Flights, download numbers showed a gradual decline from 5.4K in early July to about 3K at the end of September. Active users followed a similar downward trend, starting at 13.7K and decreasing to 10.5K over the quarter.

Flightradar24 | Flight Tracker exhibited a stable revenue stream, peaking at $3.8K in late July. Downloads saw an upward trend mid-quarter, with a peak of 6.5K in early August, while active users increased from 10.4K to 12.3K by the end of September.

Finally, flydubai showed a steady download pattern, starting with 4.7K in July and slightly decreasing to 3.8K by the end of September. The weekly active users mirrored this trend, decreasing from 8.8K to 7.7K over the same period.
